Backend Developer (Node.js / TypeScript) | WMC

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript to build and scale financial technology products. The ideal candidate should have experience working in FinTech, Wealth Management, Investment Platforms, Trading, Broking, or BFSI domains, developing robust APIs, investment workflows, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript.

Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.

Develop and optimize investment, portfolio management, transaction, and trading workflows.

Integrate with external systems such as banking APIs, payment gateways, broker platforms, KYC/AML providers, and market data services.

Ensure application reliability through automated testing and continuous integration.

Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to maintain production health.

Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software.

Optimize system performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in backend development.

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).





Experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.

Robust understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems.

Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.

Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

Financial Services

Good to Have

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.

Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker.

Experience working on high-volume transaction systems.

Understanding of financial products such as equities, mutual funds, SIPs, trading, and portfolio management.
