We are seeking a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to lead migrations from on-premises platforms to AWS and enable AI-powered cloud workloads. You will assess dependencies, build IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, run MGN/DMS/DataSync/Snowball, and integrate Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs into solutions.

Responsibilities

- Direct end-to-end on-prem to AWS migrations using Rehost, Replatform, and Refactor approaches
- Analyze current infrastructure, uncover dependencies, and outline a migration plan
- Design AWS architectures that meet security needs, scale requirements, and cost targets
- Perform migrations using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync, and Snowball
- Develop and operate Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Build automated delivery pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, and CodePipeline
- Establish monitoring and logging with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Prometheus
- Incorporate AI/ML features into workloads such as chatbots, automation, and data insights
- Leverage Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs to deliver Generative AI use cases




- Promote AI-driven automation for DevOps practices and migration workflows

Requirements

- Demonstrated 5-8 years of qualified experience in cloud engineering and migration delivery
- Advanced expertise in AWS compute services including EC2, Lambda, and ECS/EKS
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EBS, and EFS
- Working knowledge of AWS database services including RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- Practical experience in AWS networking with VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect
- Strong understanding of AWS security services including IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager
- Proven hands-on experience using AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS, and DataSync/Snowball
- Solid capability with Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tooling including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and CodePipeline
- Familiarity with observability tooling such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Prometheus
- Basic to intermediate exposure to Generative AI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
