Role Description The Senior Architect role is a full time hybrid position based in Cannanore, with a combination of on-site project engagement and some work-from-home flexibility.

The Senior

Architect will lead the architectural design of luxury villa projects, including concept development, detailed drawings, material selection, and design coordination with internal teams and external consultants. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and refining design proposals, ensuring compliance with local building codes and sustainability standards, and guiding the integration of architectural plans with structural, MEP, and interior design elements.



The role involves close collaboration with project management teams to align design milestones with construction schedules, support site visits for design validation, and address design-related issues during execution.

The Senior

Architect will also participate in client meetings to understand needs, present design solutions, and ensure that projects reflect CMR’s quality and affordability goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, planning, and detailing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing timelines, and overseeing design deliverables.
- Candidates should possess skills in Integration, including aligning architectural plans with structural, MEP, interior, and landscape designs.
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Software Development or related digital tools when applied to architectural workflows, such as BIM, CAD, or design automation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional experience in residential or villa projects, preferably in luxury or gated community developments.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with local building regulations and approval processes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams.
