Position: Senior Accounts Manager Location: cochin Qualification: MCom, MBA, CA&CMA; Experience: 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a multinational organisation, shared service centre or Global Business Services environment. Salary: As Per Industry Standard Job Summary: Responsibilities The role will manage a small accounting team and oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, variance analysis and intercompany accounting. The position will work with Finance teams and stakeholders across India, Europe and the US. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the accounting team.
- Manage monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are accurate and properly reconciled.




- Investigate and resolve outstanding or unusual accounting items.
- Review P&L; and cost variances and provide explanations.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP and Group accounting policies.
- Complete reporting in SAP BPC and other Finance systems.
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and standardisation. Requirements:
- CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, accruals and financial reporting.
- Positive understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Experience managing or mentoring accounting team members.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- SAP BPC and QAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with teams across India, Europe and the US.
