Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions. The role involves preparing financial statements, overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

Accountant will monitor accounts payable and receivable, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and help maintain compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.



This position will also contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. This is a full time, on-site role based in Delhi, India.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with taxation and regulatory compliance in India, including GST, TDS, and statutory filings.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a retail, apparel, D2C, or consumer brand environment is beneficial.
