Job Summary

GD Goenka Public School, Hapur Road is looking for a disciplined, physically fit, alert, and experienced Security Supervisor from an Army background to take responsibility for the overall security and discipline of the school campus.

This is a residential position. The selected candidate will be required to stay on the school campus and supervise the security team, gate operations, visitor movement, patrolling, emergency response, and implementation of all security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage security guards deployed across the school campus.
- Prepare and monitor duty rosters, shifts, gate duties, patrolling, and security posts.
- Maintain strict control over entry and exit of visitors, staff, vendors, vehicles, and other persons.
- Ensure proper visitor verification and entry procedures are followed at all times.
- Conduct regular day and night rounds of the campus.
- Monitor school gates, boundary areas, parking areas, academic blocks, administrative areas, and other sensitive locations.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover between security shifts.
- Maintain visitor registers, vehicle records, security logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure guards remain alert, punctual, properly uniformed, and present at their assigned posts.
- Train and guide security staff regarding discipline, visitor handling, emergency response, evacuation, and security procedures.
- Monitor CCTV and security systems wherever required.
- Ensure proper security during student arrival and dispersal, school events, examinations, functions,



and other major activities.
- Control crowd and vehicle movement during peak hours.
- Immediately report and respond to suspicious activity, unauthorised entry, disturbances, accidents, or other security incidents.
- Coordinate with the school administration during emergencies, drills, and security-related situations.
- Ensure that no unauthorised person gains access to students or restricted areas.
- Maintain professional behaviour while dealing with students, parents, staff, visitors, and vendors.
- Carry out any other security-related responsibility assigned by the school management.

Candidate Requirements
- Retired Indian Army personnel preferred.
- Maximum Age: 40 Years. Candidates above 40 years will not be considered.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting regular campus rounds.
- Robust leadership, discipline, and team-management ability.
- Prior experience in security supervision or handling security personnel preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and take quick decisions during emergencies.
- Good understanding of access control, patrolling, gate management, and security procedures.
- Basic reading and writing skills in Hindi; working knowledge of English preferred.
- Ability to maintain registers and prepare basic incident reports.
- Must be willing to stay permanently on the school campus during employment.





Duty & Leave This is a 24-hour residential responsibility position. The Security Supervisor will stay on campus and will be responsible for overall campus security, with appropriate duty and rest periods managed according to the security roster and operational requirements of the school.

The candidate must remain available on campus to respond to security emergencies whenever required.

Monthly Leave: 4 days per month, subject to the school’s duty roster and leave approval.

Preferred Profile Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have served in the Indian Army
- Have experience as a JCO/NCO or in a supervisory role
- Have previously managed a team of security guards
- Have worked in schools, hospitals, factories, residential campuses, institutions, or large facilities
- Have strong command, discipline, and emergency-handling capabilities

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
