Role Overview

We are looking for a Security Engineer Network & Cyber Security to support our Security Operations and Cyber Defence initiatives. The role involves security monitoring, incident detection and response, network security, vulnerability management, threat hunting and implementation of cybersecurity controls across enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM, EDR and other security platforms.
- Detect, investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security alerts.
- Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and network security controls.
- Perform vulnerability assessment and support remediation of identified security vulnerabilities.
- Monitor endpoint, server and infrastructure security across Windows and Linux environments.
- Support threat hunting, VAPT and security assessments.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls and security policies.
- Support Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID security and access management.
- Analyze security logs and identify suspicious activities, anomalies and potential threats.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, System Administration and IT teams for security-related activities.
- Support cybersecurity audits, compliance requirements and security documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security monitoring,



incident response and cyber defence processes.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of Network & Cyber Security concepts.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VLANs, VPNs and firewalls.
- Hands-on or working knowledge of SIEM and EDR solutions.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux security.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Basic understanding of Vulnerability Management, VAPT, Threat Hunting and Incident Response.
- Ability to analyze security alerts, logs and network traffic.
- Valuable troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational & Experience Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
- 23 years of experience in Network Security, Cybersecurity, SOC, System Administration or related roles.

Certifications:

- CompTIA Security+
- CEH
- CySA+
- CCNA / CCNP Security
- Or equivalent cybersecurity/network security certifications
