Position: Science Teacher

Location: Sarvoday Mission School, Near Janta Chowk, Purnea (Contact- (phone hidden))

Reports To: Principal / School Administrator (Contact- (phone hidden))

Job Summary:

The Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching science concepts effectively, developing students’ understanding through practical and interactive learning, and supporting their overall academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Science / EVS to students of the junior section as per the school curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Explain basic concepts related to plants, animals, human body, environment, weather, food, water, materials, and everyday science.
- Use stories, demonstrations, experiments, models, charts, videos, and other interactive methods to make learning interesting.
- Conduct simple and safe practical activities and experiments.
- Prepare worksheets, classwork, homework, projects, and assessments.
- Evaluate students' learning and maintain academic records.
- Identify students who need additional support and provide remedial assistance.
- Encourage students to ask questions, observe their surroundings, and develop scientific thinking.




- Maintain a positive, safe, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate students' progress and learning concerns to parents when required.
- Participate in school events, activities, examinations, and teacher meetings.
- Coordinate with other teachers and the academic coordinator for curriculum planning and student development.

Educational Qualification:

- Graduate in Science
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching junior classes will be an advantage.

Experience: 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school, preferably in the junior section. Fresher with good communication skills and subject knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month
