Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery & Execution (Non-Technical)
- Manage SAP projects end-to-end including planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
- Ensure delivery governance across SAP transformation programs (ECC to S/4HANA, rollouts, upgrades, AMS transitions, etc.).
- Oversee vendor/partner delivery performance and ensure SLA compliance.
2. PMO Governance & Standards
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, templates, and documentation standards.
- Own project dashboards, project health indicators, RACI matrices, and communication plans.
- Facilitate program governance meetings, stage gates, and steering committee reviews.
- Maintain RAID logs, financial trackers, project registers, and status reports.
3. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the primary coordination point between:
- Business teams
- SAP functional consultants
- SAP technical teams
- Integration partners
- Leadership stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into structured documentation without owning design.
- Drive alignment and resolution on cross-functional dependencies.
4. SAP Domain Awareness (Bridge Role Only)
- Use SAP functional understanding only for:
- Reviewing high-level requirements
- Understanding integration impacts
- Providing context to business/non-technical leadership
- Supporting UAT planning and cutover coordination
- Zero hands-on SAP configuration, testing, or solution design.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Develop executive-level dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, MS Project.
- Track budgets, forecasts, effort, burn rates, and resource utilization.
- Facilitate audits, documentation compliance, and quality assurance.
