? Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Testing Consultant with solid hands-on expertise in SAP HCM Time Management and Payroll testing . The ideal candidate should have experience in complex PCRs, schema modifications, retroactive payroll, custom ABAP objects, test automation, SIT/UAT, and defect management .

The candidate should also be comfortable working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with functional, technical, and business teams.

? Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Strategy

- Design and execute test strategies for SAP HCM Time Management and Payroll .
- Develop test coverage for complex PCRs, schema modifications, and custom ABAP reports/objects .

2. Functional Testing

- Create and execute test scenarios for:
- Time Evaluation – RPTIME00
- Quota Processing – RPTQTA00
- Retroactive Payroll Accounting
- Payroll Schema and PCR changes
- Validate results against business rules and collective agreement requirements.

3. Regression Testing

- Own regression test coverage for Time and Payroll processes.
- Ensure existing custom rules, configurations, and reports are not impacted by new changes.

4. Test Automation

- Develop and maintain automated SAP HCM test scripts using TOSCA or equivalent automation tools .
- Support faster and more efficient regression testing.

5. Defect Management

- Log, prioritize, track, and retest defects.
- Work closely with Functional and ABAP teams to validate fixes.

Test Data Management

- Prepare and manage test data for complex Time and Payroll scenarios.
- Handle scenarios involving retroactive processing, multiple payroll areas, and personnel subgroups .

7. SIT & UAT Support

- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) .
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business and technical stakeholders for sign-off.

8. Documentation

- Maintain test scripts, test execution results, and traceability matrices.
- Ensure test cases are properly mapped to functional and technical requirements.

? Must-Have Skills
- 6–10 years of hands-on SAP HCM Testing experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP HCM Time Management & Payroll .
- Experience testing custom PCRs and schema modifications .
- Experience testing custom ABAP reports/objects .
- Hands-on experience with TOSCA or equivalent SAP test automation tools .
- Strong understanding of retroactive payroll processing .
- Experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, and retesting .
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile delivery methodologies .
- Understanding of SAP HCM testing concepts such as Positive Functional Testing, Retroactive Accounting Checks, and Personnel Subgroup Variants .




- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

? Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA HCM .
- Exposure to Fiori/OData testing .
- Experience testing SAP HCM integrations with third-party/ServiceNow-type systems .
- Experience with collective agreement/union and non-union employee group testing .
- SAP HCM Functional Certification.
