Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional SAP FICO Consultant (8-12 years) to lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and support initiatives. In this senior role, you will act as a primary bridge between financial stakeholders and technical delivery teams, driving system architecture, complex functional configurations, ABAP debugging, custom RICEFW enhancements, and S/4HANA financial transformations.

Key Responsibilities

- Architectural & Functional Leadership: Lead requirement gathering sessions with finance leadership, perform fit-gap analyses, and design enterprise-grade solutions across SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).
- Techno-Functional Design: Author comprehensive Functional Specifications (FS) and Technical Specifications (TS). Debug ABAP code independently to troubleshoot complex system behaviours, identify custom logic bottlenecks, and collaborate with ABAP teams on BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BAPIs, and IDocs.
- S/4HANA Execution: Lead or drive S/4HANA implementation/migration programs, leveraging Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Financial Closing Cockpit, S/4HANA Asset Accounting, and Fiori Apps.
- Cross-Module & External Integration:



Oversee integrated process flows across FI MM, FI-SD, FI-PP, and third-party banking/taxation interfaces via APIs, OData, and RFCs.
- Project Delivery & Testing: Lead Unit, Integration (ST), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Manage cutover planning, data migration execution (LTMC, Migration Cockpit, LSMW), and post-implementation hypercare.
- Mentorship & Support: Provide L3/L4 technical support, guide junior consultants, optimize batch jobs, and ensure compliance with financial audit standards (e.g., Indian GST, Companies Act, US GAAP/IFRS).

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

- Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Commerce, Finance (CA, ICWA, or MBA Finance preferred).
- Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience with at least 2 full life cycle S/4HANA implementations or migration projects.
- Technical Proficiency:

o Robust mastery of SAP ABAP debugging techniques, CDS Views, and Fiori application architecture.

o Deep experience in RICEFW development lifecycle and third-party interface troubleshooting.

o Expertise in Indian Localization (GST, TDS, E-Way Bill, E-Invoicing integration).

- Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing communication, team management, and stakeholder handling skills.
