Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 10+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in SAP ABAP development across SAP R/3 and S/4HANA .

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in developing complex solutions in critical production environments, with strong hands-on experience in ABAP for S/4HANA, CDS Views, OData Services, Workflows, and Fiori/UI5 integration .

The candidate will work closely with A ATP functional teams, functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions, particularly for Quality and Factory Solutions .

Experience in SAP AATP, Backorder Processing (BOP), Scheduling, and Logistics Execution (LE) will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement complex SAP ABAP solutions in SAP R/3 and S/4HANA environments.
- Independently develop high-complexity solutions for critical production environments .
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable SAP technical solutions.
- Develop and enhance solutions using ABAP S/4HANA features, functionalities, and modern programming constructs .




- Design and develop CDS Views and CDS-based data models for S/4HANA applications.
- Develop and maintain OData services for Fiori/UI5-based applications.
- Work with SAP Fiori/UI5 teams to support backend integration and service development.
- Develop and maintain SAP Workflows and related technical components.
- Collaborate closely with A ATP functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Work on aATP-related topics, including Scheduling and Backorder Processing (BOP) , where applicable.
- Contribute to Logistics Execution (LE) solutions; experience in LE will be an added advantage.
- Conduct technical design reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior software developers.
- Participate in pair programming, hackathons, and technical knowledge-sharing initiatives .
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely and sustainable solutions.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment and participate in relevant Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate effectively with functional consultants, developers, architects, and other technical teams.

Required Technical Skills




- 10+ years of overall IT experience with substantial SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP – R/3 and S/4HANA .
- Strong understanding of ABAP for S/4HANA features and programming constructs.
- Hands-on experience with:
- CDS Views / CDS Data Models
- OData Services
- SAP Fiori/UI5 integration
- SAP Workflows
- ABAP development and enhancement frameworks
- Experience developing high-complexity solutions in critical production environments .
- Ability to independently analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver quality technical implementations.
- Good understanding of SAP integration and interfacing concepts.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) .
- Experience in Backorder Processing (BOP) .
- Experience in Scheduling within AATP.
- Experience in Logistics Execution (LE) .
- Experience working with Quality and Factory Solutions .
- Exposure to modern SAP S/4HANA development and architecture.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
