Position: Sales Manager / Sales Executive – Solar EPC

Industry: Solar Energy / Renewable Energy / Solar EPC

Location: Mumbai (Powai)

Experience: 3–8 years

Qualification: MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred

Salary Budget: ₹5–10 LPA, depending on experience and profile

Joining: Immediate / Short Notice preferred

Key Requirement

Solar Industry / Solar EPC sales experience is mandatory. Candidates with only general sales experience and no solar industry exposure will not be preferred.

Candidates should have strong experience in B2B/B2C solar sales, lead generation, client acquisition, proposal preparation, negotiation and order closure .

Key Responsibilities

- Generate recent business opportunities for Solar EPC projects .
- Identify and develop potential clients in commercial, industrial and residential segments.
- Generate leads through direct sales, references, networking, cold calling and digital channels.
- Conduct client meetings and understand their solar energy requirements.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations and presentations.




- Coordinate with the Design, Engineering, Commercial and Project teams for technical and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with clients.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure .
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain sales pipeline, MIS and regular sales reports.
- Follow up for payments and support collection activities where required.

Candidate Profile

- 3–8 years of relevant sales experience , depending on the position.
- Mandatory Solar / Solar EPC experience.
- Experience in rooftop solar / ground-mounted solar / commercial & industrial solar will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of solar EPC products, solutions and commercial processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
