What you will be selling
This is a SaaS sale, not a product or commodity sale. You are selling a subscription-based software platform to business owners who are used to doing things manually. You must be comfortable selling technology, running a live demo, and explaining a system not just quoting a price.
Relief Guru is a recurring-revenue software platform with a web app and mobile app. Your prospects are pharmacy owners, district managers, and head-office operations leaders most of them are not technical. Your job is to make a software solution sound easy, obvious, and worth switching to. If you have sold SaaS, IT services, or any technology product before, this will feel familiar. If you have only ever sold physical goods, this role will be a hard jump.
The role read this part carefully
This is a phone-first role. The majority of your day will be spent on the phone, cold calling pharmacy owners, managers, and decision-makers across Canada. If you are not comfortable picking up the phone and calling strangers every single day, please do not apply.
You will own the full sales cycle — building your own call list, making the calls, handling objections on the spot, running the software demo, following up relentlessly, and closing the subscription. You are the first voice a Canadian pharmacy hears from Relief Guru, so your English, your tone, and your ability to think on your feet directly decide whether we win that account or lose it.
This is not a role for someone who needs hand-holding. We want someone who is self-motivated, thinks creatively, takes initiative, and brings energy to the work every day.
What you will do
- –Make a high volume of cold calls every day to pharmacy owners, managers, and head-office decision-makers across Canada. This is the core of the job, not a side task.
- –Handle objections live on the call — price, timing, "we already have an agency", "we don't want another app", "send me an email", "not interested". You need answers ready and the confidence to keep the conversation going.
- –Run online product demos over Zoom or Teams — walk a prospect through the platform, answer functional and basic technical questions, and connect features to the problems that pharmacy is actually facing.
- –Learn the product deeply — you are expected to know the platform well enough to answer most questions yourself without escalating to the technical team.
- –Own the end-to-end sales process — prospecting, calling, qualification, demo, negotiation, onboarding paperwork, and closing.
- –Follow up by email, WhatsApp, and phone until you get a clear yes or a clear no. Deals are lost on follow-up, not on the first call.
- –Build and manage a healthy pipeline in the CRM; keep call notes, statuses, and next steps accurate and up to date, every day.
- –Report your own numbers — calls made, connects, demos booked, deals closed — without being chased for them.
- –Feed real market objections and feature requests back to the product team so the platform keeps improving.
- –Collaborate with the Client Success team to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of new clients after signing.
What we are looking for Non-negotiable requirements — please only apply if all of these apply to you.
SaaS or IT product and services sales experience — minimum 2 years actively selling software, subscriptions, platforms, apps, or IT services. Not lead generation for a software company; actual selling. Tell us what you sold, who you sold it to, and what the subscription or contract value was.
Ability to demo software confidently — you can run a screen-share walkthrough of a platform, explain how it works to a non-technical business owner, and handle "how does it integrate", "is our data safe", and "what if my staff can't use it" without freezing.
Comfort with technology — CRM, dialer, Zoom or Teams, shared docs, WhatsApp Business. You should be the kind of person who figures out a new tool on their own rather than waiting for training.
Excellent spoken English — clear pronunciation, neutral accent, confident delivery. You will be on live calls with Canadian pharmacy owners and executives all day. Weak or hesitant English will not work in this role, no exceptions.
Strong objection-handling skills — you can stay calm when someone says no, ask the right question back, and turn a cold response into a conversation.
Proven cold calling experience — you have done outbound calling as a daily habit, not occasionally, and you can tell us your typical daily call volume.
Honesty and integrity — you report your numbers accurately, you tell us when something did not get done, and you never overstate a lead's interest to look good on a report.
Accountability and ownership — you own your targets and your results. When something goes wrong, you come with the problem and a plan, not an excuse.
Responsiveness is mandatory — you reply to emails, WhatsApp messages, texts, and calls from clients and from the team promptly during working hours. If you are someone who leaves messages unread and calls unreturned, this role is not for you.
Work ethic — this is a demanding, target-driven role with real earning upside for people who put in the effort.
If you are looking for an easy desk job where you can coast, please do not apply.
Onsite availability — this role is based at our office in Sargasan, Gandhinagar. Remote work is not available for this position.
Scheduling flexibility — our clients are in Canada. Calls and meetings will need to be scheduled in alignment with Canadian time zones (Eastern and Pacific). You must be genuinely flexible with your working hours on those days.
Punctuality and reliability — missed follow-ups and late responses cost us deals. You must be disciplined, organised, and on time — always.
Strongly preferred
Healthcare, staffing, HR tech, or marketplace SaaS experience — selling workforce, scheduling, HRMS, or ERP software is the closest match to what we do.
Experience with subscription and recurring-revenue selling — you understand that the sale is not finished at signup and that renewals depend on how you set expectations up front.
Experience selling SaaS or IT services into North American markets — Canada or US.
Hands-on with CRM and sales tech — HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator(MUST), or similar.
Understanding of basic SaaS sales metrics — pipeline stages, conversion rates, MRR, churn.

Your base salary covers your fixed monthly income. On top of that, you earn commission on every deal you close — the more you sell, the more you earn. There is no cap on what you can make. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
