We are looking for a Business Development Officer who can help us expand our presence across healthcare organizations and build strong, long-term business relationships.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying healthcare organizations, understanding their operational challenges, presenting Sanvya Health's solutions, and converting qualified opportunities into long-term customers.
This is a field-oriented, relationship-driven business development role.
You will work directly with:
Hospital Owners
Clinic Owners
Doctors
Hospital Directors
Medical Superintendents
Hospital Administrators
Practice Managers
Diagnostic Centres
Multi-speciality Clinics
Other Healthcare Decision Makers
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the healthcare sector. Build a strong pipeline of hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and growth opportunities.
Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, outreach, and other channels.
Convert prospects into qualified sales opportunities.
1. Healthcare Client Acquisition
Visit hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations to understand their current operations. Engage directly with decision makers and understand their business requirements.
Introduce Sanvya Health's platform based on the organization's specific operational needs.
Arrange and conduct product demonstrations in coordination with the relevant team.
Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
1. Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and organizational decision makers. Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing clients.
Understand customer requirements and communicate them effectively to internal teams.
Develop long-term partnerships rather than focusing only on one-time sales.
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Move qualified prospects through different stages of the sales funnel.
Negotiate and support commercial discussions where required.
Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.
1. Market Intelligence
Track healthcare technology adoption and market trends. Monitor competitor positioning and customer expectations.
Identify common operational challenges faced by hospitals and clinics.
Share market feedback with the management and product teams.
1. CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, meetings, demonstrations, and follow-ups. Update CRM/sales records regularly.
Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.
Ensure timely follow-up on all qualified opportunities.
