Role Description The Sales and Application Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their scientific and laboratory needs, presenting suitable products and solutions, and providing application support for instruments, kits, and reagents. The specialist will conduct product demonstrations and training sessions, support installations, and troubleshoot basic application-related issues in coordination with technical teams.

Daily responsibilities include managing leads, preparing quotations, following up on opportunities, maintaining customer relationships,



and documenting activities in line with company processes. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams on market feedback, participating in scientific events or exhibitions, and staying updated on product developments and industr y trends.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to identify needs, explain solutions clearly, and close opportunities.
- Solid understanding of laboratory workflows in molecular biology, histology, diagnostics, or related life science domains.
- Ability to provide application support, including product demonstrations, basic troubleshooting, and user training on instruments and consumables.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, basic office software, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genitics or a related field.
- Prior experience in scientific sales, technical support, or application specialist roles in diagnostics or laboratory products is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and entire Gujarat travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
