Skylark Enterprises is looking for a Safety Supervisor / Site Safety & Operations Supervisor to join our team for infrastructure projects across Mumbai.

Our work primarily involves utility trenching, electrical cable laying, electrical infrastructure works, tower foundations, substation construction and associated civil works. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring site safety compliance while also being capable of supporting day-to-day site activities.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & HSE

- Implement and monitor safety procedures at project sites.
- Prepare and maintain JSA (Job Safety Analysis), HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment), Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other HSE documentation.
- Conduct daily Tool Box Talks (TBT) and safety briefings.
- Carry out regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions/acts.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, safety equipment, barricading, signage and work permits.
- Maintain safety registers, checklists, inspection reports and other site HSE records.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and utility authorities regarding safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific HSE requirements.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses and unsafe occurrences.
- Ensure safe working practices during excavation, trenching, cable laying, lifting, electrical work and civil construction activities.

Site Supervision & Coordination

- Candidate should be capable of looking after basic site activities in the absence of the Site Engineer.
- Coordinate with workmen, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Monitor manpower, tools,



equipment and material at site.
- Ensure work is progressing as per approved method statements and safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily work activities and report progress to management.
- Understand basic construction/site activities and be able to identify issues affecting work progress.
- Maintain daily site reports and required documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Safety, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 25 years of relevant site experience in construction, electrical infrastructure, utilities, cable laying or civil works.
- Good practical knowledge of JSA, HIRA, Risk Assessment, Method Statements and HSE documentation.
- Experience in trenching, excavation, cable laying, utility works, tower foundations or substation construction will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable working at active construction and utility project sites.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Should be capable of independently handling routine safety and site coordination activities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel / documentation is preferred.
