Role Description The Safety Officer role at AMZL LOGISTICS LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Guwahati.
The Safety
Officer will oversee daily safety operations, monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, and conduct regular inspections of facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
Responsibilities include identifying potential hazards, leading accident investigations, maintaining safety records, and preparing reports for management. The role involves planning and delivering safety training sessions,
promoting safe work practices, and collaborating with operational teams to implement corrective actions.
The Safety
Officer will also coordinate with security personnel to support secure and safe logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles and regulations.
- Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Understanding of Security practices relevant to logistics and warehouse environments.
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs for diverse teams.
- Relevant certification or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related field.
- Familiarity with local and national safety legislation applicable to logistics operations.
- Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
