Quinfy Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our Engineering Team and help build and scale QuinPlus , our AI-native background verification (BGV) platform serving clients across 45+ countries .
? What you'll work on
- Build and maintain Ruby on Rails services for BGV workflows
- Integrate third-party, government, education, employment, and identity data sources
- Design reliable REST APIs with retries and rate-limit handling
- Optimize Sidekiq jobs, PostgreSQL queries, and API performance
- Build secure systems handling sensitive candidate data
- Own features from design through deployment and monitoring
- Debug production issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations teams
? Tech Stack
Ruby on Rails | PostgreSQL | Sidekiq | Redis | RSpec | REST APIs | Docker | AWS | Git | CI/CD
✅ Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience,
including 2+ years with Ruby on Rails
- Strong OOP, MVC, and REST API knowledge
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and query optimization
- Basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership workplace
⭐ Nice to have: BGV/KYC/HRTech experience, large-scale background processing, Redis, AWS/Azure, Docker, or third-party API integration experience.
