Role Description The Roto Artist will be responsible for creating precise mattes and roto shapes to support compositing and VFX workflows in film and animation projects. Day-to-day tasks include tracing and isolating characters and objects frame by frame, ensuring clean edges and consistent motion, and collaborating with compositors to integrate roto work seamlessly into final shots.



The role involves working closely with supervisors to meet creative and technical requirements, maintaining project timelines, and adhering to established naming and file management standards.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Keying and Paint for clean extractions, object removal, and edge refinement.
- Proficiency in Motion Tracking and related computer graphics techniques to ensure accurate integration of roto elements.
- Comfort with VFX and compositing software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, Silhouette, Mocha).
- Ability to work efficiently on high-volume shots while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a production team and take feedback constructively.
- Freshers are invited
- Relevant training or education in animation, VFX, multimedia, or related fields is an advantage.
