Role & responsibilities

- Program, teach, modify, test, and commission FANUC, ABB, and Yaskawa industrial robots.
- Develop and optimize robot programs for machine tending, material handling, welding, assembly, palletizing, and pick-and-place applications.
- Perform path optimization, cycle-time improvement, collision avoidance, mastering, TCP/tool calibration, and frame setup.
- Configure and troubleshoot robot I/O, sensors, grippers, tooling, and peripherals.
- Integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, safety systems, vision systems, and other automation equipment.
- Diagnose robot faults, communication issues, and production downtime.
- Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up at customer/manufacturing sites.
- Provide technical support and operator training as required.

Required candidate profile

- 2-3 years of hands-on industrial robotics programming experience.
- Strong experience with FANUC TP programming.




- Working knowledge of ABB RAPID programming; Yaskawa experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of robot coordinates, frames, TCP, payloads, mastering, and calibration.
- Experience with robot I/O and PLC integration.
- Basic-to-good knowledge of PLC, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Solid troubleshooting and commissioning skills.
- Knowledge of industrial robot safety.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings is preferred.
- Exposure to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, or DeviceNet is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning.

Education Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
