RM & PM PURCHASE EXECUTIVE

Position: RM & PM Purchase Executive

Industry: Food Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

- Handle procurement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) as per production requirements.
- Prepare purchase plans based on production schedules, stock levels, and material requirements.
- Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and prepare price comparisons.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, QA/QC, Accounts, and Management for smooth procurement.
- Monitor RM & PM stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers as per company requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding orders, dispatch, delivery, and quality issues.
- Verify material rates, quantity, quality,



and delivery against purchase orders.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, supplier details, and other related documents.
- Prepare regular purchase reports and provide updates to management.
- Ensure procurement is done at the right quality, right quantity, right price, and right time.

Required Skills
- Positive communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong vendor management and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge of Food Industry RM & PM materials.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Strong planning and time-management skills.

Qualification Graduate / MBA / Diploma in Purchase, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
