VP - Regulatory Authorization and Permissions Banking / Financial Services Pune 12+ Years

Looking for a seasoned Regulatory Compliance professional with over 12 years of experience in regulatory authorizations, global licensing, and cross-border governance within the banking or financial services industry.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in managing license-to-operate frameworks, driving policy/standard refresh cycles, and overseeing multi-jurisdictional compliance controls. This leadership role requires strong analytical acumen, exceptional stakeholder management, and a track record of driving governance programs across matrixed global organizations.

Responsibilities

1. Leading the governance and end-to-end lifecycle of global regulatory licenses, permissions, waivers, and regulatory submissions.
2. Overseeing cross-border governance frameworks and chairing multi-jurisdictional compliance working groups.
3. Driving annual policy and standard refresh cycles, including control testing, process documentation, and F2B validations.
4. Representing the organization in senior governance forums, compliance committees, and interactions with regulatory bodies.
5. Managing critical data governance, system enhancements, and automated migration of complex regulatory datasets.
6. Implementing Target Operating Models (TOM) and RACI frameworks while providing strategic leadership and coaching to global compliance teams.

Requirements

1. 12+ years of extensive experience in regulatory compliance, licensing, cross-border governance, and entity authorization within financial services.
2. In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, and risk management standards.
3. Proven track record in leading large-scale governance programs, policy refreshes,



and control framework implementations.
4. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior executives, framework teams, and regulatory authorities.
5. Exceptional analytical capability to interpret complex regulatory datasets and translate them into strategic controls.
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline; professional compliance certifications are preferred.
