Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Research and Development Intern. The intern will support R&D; projects related to AI cyber and advanced cyber intelligence by conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in the design and evaluation of experimental frameworks.
Day-to-day tasks may include preparing research documentation, contributing to reports and presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping translate research findings into practical cyber defense strategies.
The intern will also assist with ongoing initiatives tied to the organization’s Prevention, Education, Detection, and Rapid Response pillars, while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards in cybersecurity research.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Research and Development (R&D;) and Research, with the ability to design, execute, and document structured studies.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying patterns, and supporting evidence-based conclusions.
- Effective Communication skills for writing clear reports, preparing presentations, and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Basic Laboratory Skills or equivalent hands-on technical skills (e.g., working with tools, simulations, or test environments) relevant to cyber or technology-focused research.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in AI, cyber intelligence, and emerging security technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with research tools, data analysis software, or programming languages (such as Python, R, or similar) is an advantage.
