Role Description The Registered Nurse role at Zydus Hospitals Vadodara is a full-time, on-site position based in India. The nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. Daily tasks include coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families on treatment plans, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and infection control standards.

The role requires active participation in patient assessment, care planning, and discharge processes while maintaining a high level of professionalism,



empathy, and ethical practice. The nurse will also support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, organized, and patient-focused clinical setting.

Qualifications

- Valid nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.Sc Nursing) and registration with the appropriate nursing council in India.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and basic life support.
- Ability to follow evidence-based nursing practices, hospital policies, and infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Competence in maintaining accurate documentation and using hospital information systems or electronic medical records.
- Capacity to work in rotational shifts, manage multiple patients, and respond calmly in emergency or high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards of care.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred; experience in specialty units (e.g., ICU, medical-surgical, emergency) is an advantage.
