Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with strong expertise in Commercial Lines / SME Insurance to drive business through Direct Sales.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in acquiring and managing SME/Commercial customers, developing new business, and achieving sales targets through direct customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Commercial Lines / SME Insurance business through direct sales.
- Acquire new SME and commercial customers through market mapping and field visits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, promoters and key decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct regular customer meetings and understand their insurance requirements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to conversion and closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business targets.
- Develop the commercial insurance portfolio within the assigned region.




- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure excellent customer relationship management and retention.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing.

Mandatory Experience
- Only candidates with Commercial Lines / Commercial Insurance experience will be considered.
- Robust experience in SME / Commercial Insurance Direct Sales is mandatory.
- Experience in products such as Property, Marine, Liability, Engineering, Fire, Group/Commercial Insurance will be preferred.
- Proven track record in new business acquisition and revenue generation.
- Strong market knowledge and customer acquisition skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
