Regional Representative

Location: Chembur, Mumbai

Gresham Global is working with a leading university to strengthen and expand its presence in South Asia. We are seeking a high-calibre professional to lead the university’s regional strategy and represent it in the market.

This is a high-ownership role with direct responsibility for driving outcomes across student recruitment, institutional partnerships, academic engagement, and brand development. You will act as the university’s in-country lead, shaping how it is positioned and grows in the region.

This role requires someone comfortable operating with autonomy, making decisions, and being accountable for results. There is no fixed playbook. You will be expected to execute the defined approach, build relationships, and drive student numbers from South Asia.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and execute the university’s regional strategy across South Asia
- Drive student recruitment across undergraduate and postgraduate segments
- Build and manage relationships with institutions, partners, and key stakeholders
- Identify and develop academic and institutional collaborations
- Represent the university at senior-level meetings, events, and forums
- Manage partner performance and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Contribute to market insights, planning, and performance tracking

We are looking for someone who:

- 5–7 years of relevant experience in international education or a related sector
- Experience with luxury brands will be a plus
- Solid understanding of the South Asia market and how it operates




- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability
- Has experience working with agents and institutes
- Credibility to engage with senior stakeholders and represent an international institution
- Strong presentation skills
- Sound judgement, initiative, and a track record of driving outcomes
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly when required

This role is based in Mumbai and requires a consistent on-ground presence, along with regular travel across the region.
