About the Opportunity

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, invites online applications from eligible candidates for teaching positions across various departments. This recruitment drive is being conducted vide Advertisement No. 6995/Bharti/Prashn/2026 dated 31 August 2026 for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the concerned discipline.

Guide and supervise research scholars, as applicable.

Undertake independent and collaborative research and contribute to scholarly publications.

Participate in departmental administration, curriculum development and academic committees.

Contribute to university extension, outreach and other academic activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications, experience and other eligibility requirements applicable to the respective post and discipline.

The eligibility criteria shall be as per the applicable UGC Regulations, University Statutes, Ordinances, Government of India rules and other provisions applicable to Central Universities.
