We are looking for a Recovery Executive to join our Collections Department and take ownership of student follow-ups, payment recovery, monthly collection targets, and student re-engagement.
Salary and incentive structure will be discussed based on the candidate's experience, skills, and interview performance.
Role Overview : The Recovery Executive will be responsible for managing outbound calls and follow-ups with dropout students, irregular students, students with pending payments, and inactive learners.
The role requires an individual with excellent communication, convincing, negotiation, follow-up, and customer-handling skills who can effectively understand student concerns, encourage them to complete their payments or continue their learning journey, and contribute towards the monthly collection targets.
The position also involves student re-engagement and selling/recommending relevant short courses offered by KEN Institute in the HSE & EHS domain.
This is a completely inside-office / onsite role with no field collection responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make outbound calls to dropout, irregular, inactive, and pending-payment students.
- Follow up professionally with students regarding outstanding payments and commitments.
- Achieve assigned monthly collection and recovery targets.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups through calls,
WhatsApp, email, and other approved communication channels.
- Understand student concerns, identify reasons for non-payment or discontinuation, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Use strong convincing and negotiation skills to convert pending cases into successful collections.
- Re-engage inactive and dropout students and encourage them to resume their learning journey.
- Promote and sell relevant HSE & EHS short courses wherever applicable.
- Identify cross-selling and re-enrollment opportunities from existing student databases.
- Explain course benefits, career relevance, eligibility, and enrollment processes clearly to students.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, payment commitments, follow-ups, and collection status.
- Ensure timely follow-up on promised payment dates.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding student accounts, payment status, course details, and enrollment-related concerns.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly collection and follow-up reports.
- Meet individual as well as team-level performance targets.
- Follow professional communication standards and KEN Institute's collection policies.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and solution-oriented approach while dealing with students.

Graduation / Undergraduate candidates from any stream can apply. Candidates with relevant experience in Collections, Telecalling, Student Recovery, Inside Sales, Customer Support, EdTech, or Education Counselling will be preferred.
