Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.

- Estimate project costs and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

- Review and verify contractor and subcontractor bills.

- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.

- Prepare rate analysis and cost comparisons for various construction activities.

- Coordinate with project, procurement, billing, and finance teams.

- Evaluate variations, change orders, and extra item claims.

- Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract documentation.

- Verify measurements at site and certify work completed.

- Track material consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Prepare cost reports, MIS reports, and project cash flow projections.





- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.

- Support final account settlement and project closure.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and construction costing.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP software (SAP/Oracle preferred).

- Valuable understanding of BOQs, contracts, and billing procedures.

- Knowledge of IS Codes, DSR, and market rates.

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
