Job Title : SENIOR Quality Manager

Job Summary :

Vaayu Shanti Solution Pvt. Ltd., Raipur, a leading manufacturer of Pollution Control Equipment such as Filter Bags, Cages, and a trusted supplier of ESP spares, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality standards in filter cage production, including fabric testing, stitching inspection, dimensional checks, and test certificate verification.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the Quality Department and establish a strong zero-defect quality culture.
- Prepare, implement and maintain QAP, SOPs, inspection plans and quality standards.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, fabrics, threads, membranes, components and consumables.
- Conduct and supervise testing of filter fabrics and finished products as per specifications.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, stitching quality, GSM, thickness, strength and other required parameters are within approved limits.
- Verify Test Certificates (TC), inspection reports and vendor quality documents.
- Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of all quality testing instruments and equipment.
- Carry out in-process and final inspection and release products for dispatch only after meeting quality requirements.
- Identify non-conformities, defects and process deviations and ensure timely corrective action.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone and other quality tools.
- Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and monitor its effectiveness.
- Analyse customer complaints and coordinate with Production, Purchase and Project teams for resolution.
- Maintain complete quality records, inspection reports, test reports, NCRs, CAPA and rejection/rework data.
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs, rejection levels, rework, customer complaints and process defects.




- Work closely with Production and Purchase to prevent quality issues rather than only detecting them after production.
- Conduct regular quality audits and process inspections on the shop floor.
- Train production and quality staff on quality standards, inspection methods and defect prevention.
- Ensure finished goods are free from issues such as loose threads, dimensional deviations, stitching defects, material mismatch and workmanship defects.
- Participate in customer/vendor inspections and technical discussions whenever required.
- Continuously improve the quality system through process improvement and data-based decision making.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Textile, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, textile/fabric, filtration, engineering products, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QC, QA, QAP, SOP
- Practical experience with testing instruments and inspection equipment.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications, measurements and tolerances.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to independently handle the Quality Department and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a zero-defect mindset.

Additional Details : Candidates must be ready for regular field visits.

Candidates from the respective regions will be preferred.
