Quality Inspector

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Inspector at Vguard Consumer Products ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of V-Guard Industries Limited) with hands-on experience in PCBA, SMT, and electronics manufacturing inspections. The individual should possess strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to identify and control quality abnormalities throughout incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection stages.

Key Responsibility:

- Conduct First Piece Inspection (FPI) and Line Clearance activities.
- Perform routine patrol inspections during SMT, Manual Insertion (MI), soldering, testing, and assembly operations.
- Inspect PCBAs for soldering and assembly defects.
- Identify defects such as solder bridges, insufficient solder, tombstones, component shifts, polarity errors, missing/wrong components, and solder balls.




- Monitor process controls related to SPI, AOI, Reflow, and testing operations.
- Verify component values, locations, orientations, and polarity against BOMs and PCB drawings.
- Ensure compliance with Control Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions, and Process Specifications.
- Monitor and control 4M changes (Man, Machine, Material, Method).
- Maintain defect records, Pareto analysis data, rejection and rework reports.
- Support root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, CAPA, and 8D methodologies.
- Participate in process improvement and defect reduction initiatives

Educational Qualification ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation.

Educational Qualification

2-3 years experience in SMT PCB Assembly, Wave Soldering Machine & Oven Process.
