: Metal Scrap Quality Control (Freshers needed)

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect all incoming raw material (RM) vehicles and verify the material against the Purchase Order (PO) and delivery challan.

- Check for material quality issues including mixed material, non-ferrous contamination, rust, oil, paint/coating, moisture, and other visible defects.

- Draw representative samples from every load as per the defined sampling SOP (top, middle, and bottom of the load).

- Conduct physical quality inspections including thickness/gauge measurement, dimensional checks, bundle density verification, and visual grading as per PUREMAX quality standards.

- Perform chemical and spectro analysis wherever testing facilities are available.

- Evaluate and assign the final quality grade for each incoming lot and accurately record inspection details in the QC Register/FMS along with photographic evidence.

- Identify quality deviations,



recommend downgrades or rejections, and communicate findings to the Plant Incharge and Sourcing team with proper documentation.

- Support supplier claim and debit note documentation for rejected or downgraded material.

- Cross-verify gross, tare, and net weighment records against QC inspection findings.

- Prepare daily inward raw material QC reports and supplier-wise grading analysis, along with monthly MIS reports.

- Conduct random quality checks on outgoing bales and processed/cut material to ensure compliance with customer grade specifications.

- Ensure adherence to quality procedures, inspection standards, safety norms, and documentation requirements throughout the inspection process.
