Position: Silk Saree Quality Checker

Key Responsibilities

- Silk Saree Quality Inspection
- Inspect silk sarees thoroughly before purchase, production acceptance, or dispatch.
- Check overall fabric quality, weaving quality, finish, texture, and appearance.
- Identify weaving defects, manufacturing defects, stains, holes, loose threads, and other imperfections.
- Silk & Fabric Verification
- Check the quality and feel of silk material.
- Identify differences in silk quality, yarn quality, thickness, and texture.
- Verify whether the saree meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Zari Quality Checking
- Inspect zari quality, shine, colour, thickness, and weaving.
- Check for broken zari, loose zari, uneven zari work, and weaving gaps.
- Identify quality differences between genuine and inferior zari where applicable.
- Weaving & Design Inspection
- Check border alignment, pallu design,



body design, motifs, and overall pattern.
- Ensure borders are straight and properly aligned.
- Check for weaving variations, missing motifs, extra threads, and design defects.
- Colour & Dye Quality
- Check colour consistency between the body, border, and pallu.
- Identify colour bleeding, uneven dyeing, patches, stains, and shade variations.
- Check whether the saree matches the approved sample or purchase specification.
- Finishing & Presentation
- Inspect finishing, folding, ironing, fall/pico work, blouse piece, and overall presentation.
- Ensure sarees are free from dust, stains, oil marks, and other visible defects.
- Check packing quality before sending products to stores, customers, or exhibitions.
