We are looking for a smart, detail-driven Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in quality control/assurance in the fastener industry to join our growing manufacturing team.

Location: Vasai / Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

- Handle in-process and final quality inspection of fasteners
- Interpret and implement customer drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards
- Manage PPAP documentation, control plans, and quality reports
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure process quality and defect reduction
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
- Manage customer complaints and support customer audits
- Perform internal quality audits and maintain quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with OEM and customer-specific requirements
- Monitor calibration of measuring instruments and inspection equipment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality and process control

Ideal Candidate Profile





- Mechanical Engineer (Diploma / BE / BTech – Mechanical)
- Experience in quality role within a fastener manufacturing company is mandatory
- Strong understanding of fastener standards, drawings, tolerances, and inspection methods
- Knowledge of quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8D, SPC, etc.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Profile Projector, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, responsible, and good at cross-functional coordination
