Position: Nesting & Programming Engineer
Location: Silvassa
Department: Production / Planning (CNC Cutting)
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

-
Create optimized nesting layouts using AutoCAD to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.

Generate CNC cutting programs using OmniWin software.

-
Set appropriate cutting parameters based on plate thickness and material type.

Supervise daily activities of machine operators and helpers.

Raise material requisitions and coordinate with Stores for plate availability.

Maintain accurate records of plate issues, consumption, and remnant stock using MS Excel.

Track reusable remnant plates for future production.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.

Required Skills

-
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and OmniWin (ProNest knowledge will be an added advantage).

Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Strong understanding of CNC plate cutting and nesting processes.

Valuable team handling and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and effective inventory management.
