About The Role NR Consulting is seeking an experienced QA Manager to oversee and lead the quality assurance activities across multiple software development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of manual and automation testing, QA processes, and team management.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can define testing methodologies, improve existing testing frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The QA Manager will be responsible for coordinating testing efforts across web, mobile, SaaS, and enterprise applications, ensuring that all releases meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications The successful candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with proven leadership experience in managing QA teams. A strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and release management is essential.

Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, Postman, and Swagger is required.



Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium is highly desirable.

Certifications such as ISTQB or Agile/Scrum certifications will be advantageous. The candidate should possess excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills and be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage QA teams across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards.
- Define comprehensive QA strategies, including test plans, testing approaches, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Review business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to ensure clarity and testability.
- Oversee manual testing, automation testing, regression testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
- Ensure proper test case design, execution, defect reporting, and timely defect closure to maintain high-quality standards.
- Track QA progress through dashboards and reports, analyzing defect trends, release readiness, and overall quality metrics.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to facilitate seamless testing processes.




- Drive the adoption and implementation of automation testing to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Manage QA resource planning, workload distribution, and team performance evaluations.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases with minimal production defects.
- Prepare comprehensive QA status reports, risk assessments, and release sign-off documentation for senior management.
- Mentor and develop QA Analysts, Senior QA Engineers, and Automation Testers to foster continuous improvement and skill development.
