Sustainfy Energy is a solar PV testing, inspection and technical services company with 8+ years of industry experience and exposure to 9 GW+ of solar projects.

Our work covers solar PV module testing and inspection, quality assurance, root cause analysis (RCA), due diligence, design & engineering, performance assessment and technical inspections.

We are now expanding our inspection network and are looking for experienced QA/QC professionals specifically from the SOLAR PV MODULE MANUFACTURING industry.

THIS ROLE IS PRIMARILY FOR SOLAR MODULE QUALITY INSPECTION.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a QA/QC Inspector – Solar PV Module Manufacturing, you will inspect solar PV modules and manufacturing quality at factories, warehouses and project sites.

You will be responsible for identifying module defects, verifying manufacturing quality, conducting/assisting with testing, documenting findings and preparing accurate inspection reports.

This is a technical inspection role — not a general electrical QA/QC or routine O&M; position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct quality inspection of Solar PV modules at manufacturing facilities, warehouses and project sites.
- Perform detailed visual inspection of PV modules and identify manufacturing and handling defects.
- Identify defects such as:
- Microcracks
- Cell cracks
- Cell mismatch
- Delamination
- Bubbles
- Snail trails
- Back-sheet defects
- Glass defects
- Frame defects
- Junction box defects
- Connector/cable issues
- Soldering and interconnection defects




- Check module workmanship, construction and physical condition against applicable specifications and quality requirements.
- Assist with EL (Electroluminescence) testing and interpretation of EL images to identify cracks, inactive areas and other cell-related defects.
- Assist with IV curve testing / IV curve tracing and basic electrical performance checks.
- Verify module specifications, nameplate information and test data.
- Record inspection observations accurately with photographs and supporting evidence.
- Prepare inspection reports, checklists and daily site/factory reports using mobile/web-based digital reporting tools.
- Coordinate with the internal technical team, manufacturers, EPC teams and clients during inspection activities.
- Follow applicable quality, safety and inspection procedures during factory and site visits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SOLAR PV MODULE MANUFACTURING QA/QC, QUALITY INSPECTION or SOLAR MODULE TESTING.
- Strong understanding of solar PV module construction, components and manufacturing processes.
- Practical understanding of PV module defects and failure modes.
- Familiarity with solar module inspection and quality control procedures.
- Basic understanding of IEC 61215 and IEC 61730.
- Experience with EL testing and/or IV curve testing is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with solar module manufacturers, PV module factories,



third-party inspection agencies or solar QA/QC teams will be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical reporting.
- Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications and web-based reporting systems for inspection documentation.
- Willingness to travel across India for short-term inspection assignments.
- Available for immediate or short-notice project assignments.
