QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

Location: Remote

Engagement: Contractor

Compensation: USD $60–$112/hour

Ufinity Ventures is sharing an opportunity for experienced QA Engineers, Software Test Engineers, and SDETs to contribute their testing expertise to a high-volume engineering evaluation project.

This opportunity is ideal for quality engineering professionals with strong experience in software testing, test-case design, automation testing, regression testing, bug tracking, and quality assurance .

Selected professionals will apply their QA expertise to review, test, evaluate, and improve the quality of technical outputs while providing structured feedback that supports high-quality engineering evaluation.

Scope of Work

- Design and execute test cases covering functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios .
- Perform both manual and automated software testing .
- Document test results using clear, reproducible steps.
- Identify, reproduce, log, and track software defects.
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios based on technical and functional requirements.
- Evaluate technical outputs against defined quality criteria and evaluation rubrics.
- Provide detailed written feedback and annotations to improve output quality.
- Identify inconsistencies, defects, unexpected behavior, and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and structured testing documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine evaluation guidelines and testing standards.
- Apply strong QA judgment to ensure consistent and reliable evaluation outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Proven qualified experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Software Test Engineer, Automation QA Engineer, or similar role .




- Strong understanding of fundamental software QA and testing principles.
- Hands-on experience with test-case design and execution .
- Experience with manual testing.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Strong understanding of regression testing .
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools.
- Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and testing documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly through written reports and verbal discussions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
