About the Role

We are looking for a smart, proactive, and technically strong Senior QA Automation Engineer who can take ownership of automation initiatives, lead a QA automation team, improve existing testing frameworks, and introduce contemporary tools and practices to continuously improve product quality and engineering productivity.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in test automation, framework development, CI/CD integration, API testing, defect analysis, and automation strategy, along with the ability to mentor team members, conduct code reviews, solve complex QA challenges, and drive technical innovation.

What You'll Own

Automation & Quality Engineering

- Own the automation strategy and execution for critical product areas.
- Design and develop robust, reusable, and scalable automation solutions.
- Automate UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Improve automation coverage, reliability, execution speed, and maintainability.

Framework & Technical Excellence

- Own and continuously enhance the automation framework.
- Improve framework architecture, reporting, logging, parallel execution, reusability.
- Identify and eliminate flaky and unstable automation tests.
- Establish automation coding standards and best practices.

CI/CD & Release Quality

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Enable scheduled, regression,



and release-based automation.
- Work closely with Development and DevOps teams to build quality into the delivery pipeline.
- Provide automation insights and quality signals for release decisions.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop QA automation engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Guide team members in automation, debugging, framework usage, and technical problem-solving.
- Build a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

Innovation & AI

- Continuously explore new automation tools, frameworks, AI tools, and testing technologies.
- Conduct POCs and introduce tools that provide measurable productivity or quality improvements.
- Explore AI-assisted test generation, intelligent regression, self-healing automation, and AI-powered QA solutions.

Ownership & Problem Solving

- Take end-to-end ownership of automation deliverables.
- Identify technical and quality risks proactively.
- Perform root-cause analysis of complex failures and production issues.
- Ensure automation commitments are delivered within agreed timelines.
