Roles and Responsibilities :

- Leading the development for django Python-based engineering and digitalization applications within the global development organization.
- Independent development of complex backend services, APIs and application components using Django Python.
- Coordination of technical activities with stakeholders and development teams.
- Support of Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Responsibility for software quality, development standards and technical documentation.
- Analysis of business requirements and creation of technical concepts and software architectures.
- Support and coaching of the development team through technical guidance, code reviews and knowledge transfer.
- Development and maintenance of digital solutions for engineering processes, automation, data processing and AI-supported applications.





Job Requirements :

- 8-11 years of experience in application engineering with expertise in manufacturing domain.
- Advanced coding skills in python. (Proven track record)
- Knowledge in relational database languages. (e.g. SQL)
- Proven track record with the development environment Visual Studio/VS Code and web-based DevOps lifecycle tools (Git & GitLab)

- Very good knowledge in the python framework Django
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Positive knowledge in creating UML and documentation.
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English
- Very good understanding in designing and structuring code bases
