Role Description The Purchase Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located at the Silvassa facility. This role involves managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies.

The Purchase

Specialist will track order status, follow up on deliveries, maintain accurate purchasing records, and coordinate with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring inventory levels, analyzing purchasing data,



identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting vendor evaluation and performance reviews. The role requires adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards while maintaining strong qualified relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing to manage sourcing, vendor interactions, and procurement workflows effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Purchase Orders to handle order creation, approval cycles, tracking, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate quotations, compare supplier performance, control costs, and optimize purchasing decisions.
- Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement, preferably in textiles, fibers, or related sectors.
- Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software, MS Excel, and basic data reporting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently on-site in Silvassa.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
