Role Description The Purchase Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to support the design and manufacturing of automated vehicle wash systems. This full-time remote role involves sourcing suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services.

Daily tasks include processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with engineering, production, and finance teams for accurate and cost-effective purchasing.

Officer also reviews contracts, negotiates pricing and terms, analyzes purchasing data, and maintains documentation and records in line with internal policies and compliance requirements. The role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and continuous optimization of purchasing processes to support operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including sourcing, vendor management, and procurement workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
- Candidates should possess experience in contract negotiation, including pricing, delivery terms, and service-level agreements.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills for evaluating quotations, assessing supplier performance, and monitoring cost and usage data.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement or ERP software, with strong numerical accuracy and record-keeping abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setup, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
