Domestic Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end domestic procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other business requirements.

- Prepare, release, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable domestic vendors/suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare commercial terms, negotiate prices, and achieve cost-effective purchases.
- Monitor purchase rates, lead times, payment terms, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts teams for smooth procurement operations.
- Ensure required COA/quality documents are received from suppliers wherever applicable.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure material availability as per production requirements.
- Handle purchase documentation, vendor records, quotations, POs, GRNs, and invoices.




- Develop alternate sources to minimize supply risks and dependency on single vendors.
- Prepare regular purchase and procurement MIS/reports for management.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in *Domestic Purchase / Procurement, preferably in the **Plastic/Packaging Manufacturing Industry*.

- Strong vendor negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Valuable understanding of PO, procurement cycle, inventory coordination, and commercial terms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software systems.
- Strong follow-up, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet timelines.

Pay: ₹10,872.30 - ₹25,151.12 per month
