Role & responsibilities

- Identify and develop strategic suppliers to strengthen supply continuity and reduce sourcing risk.

- Drive new and alternate item development to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of development activities.

- Implement supplier diversification and cost optimization strategies aligned with business goals.

- Continuously enhance procurement processes and SCM effectiveness through market and risk analysis.

- To identify the need for new vendor development in line with business requirements.

- To identify and develop current items as well as alternate items with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery, thereby strengthening procurement effectiveness.

- To coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of development activities within the stipulated timeframe.

- To explore and implement process and capability enhancement opportunities in Supply Chain Management from a procurement perspective.
