Purchase Executive – Gold & Jewellery Industry

Working Days: Thursday to Tuesday (6 Days)

Timing: 10:45 AM to 8:30 PM

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in the Gold & Jewellery Industry. The candidate will handle gold and jewellery material purchases, vendor coordination, rate negotiation, documentation and purchase records.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase Gold, Silver, Diamonds, Gemstones and other jewellery materials.
- Monitor daily gold and silver market rates.
- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate rates, making charges, wastage and payment terms.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors.
- Check gold purity, weight, hallmarking and required documents.
- Prepare and verify Purchase Orders, invoices and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production and Accounts for material requirements.
- Maintain purchase records and supplier-wise purchase reports.




- Follow up on supplier payments and resolve rate/weight/invoice differences.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow proper procedures for handling precious metals.

Required Skills

- 1+ year experience in Purchase – Gold & Jewellery Industry is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of gold rates, purity, karat, weight and wastage.
- Positive vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
