Role Description

We are looking for a part-time Public Speaking Tutor to work with two students, aged 10 and 11, through live online sessions. You will help them learn to hold an audience's attention, structure their thoughts, and manage their nerves, whether they are in a classroom, on a stage, or on a video call.

Most of each session will involve the student speaking while you listen and provide specific, targeted feedback. You will use and help integrate AI tools as part of the preparation and teaching process, working within a structured daily timetable designed specifically for these students.

This role is teaching children. It is not corporate communication training.

In this role you will:

- Conduct live, one-on-one online tutoring sessions with two students,



aged 10 and 11.
- Model explicit, structured, and confident communication for American students.
- Provide specific, actionable feedback on student presentations and practice talks.
- Help students develop skills in structuring arguments, managing speaking anxiety, and engaging an audience.
- Contribute to a curriculum that integrates AI tools for speech preparation, practice, and analysis.
- Document student progress and ensure they complete required daily reflections within our system.

Qualifications

- Experience teaching or coaching public speaking, debate, or performance to children aged 9 to 12.
- Excellent command of spoken English, suitable for modeling communication to American students.
- Comfort using technology for online teaching and an interest in using AI tools to enhance learning.
- Ability to provide direct, constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging manner.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet place to teach. Audio quality is not optional in a speaking class.
- Availability to run sessions timed for US student schedules, Monday to Friday.

Details

- Part-time, remote from India, working US hours.
- 4–6 hrs/week, Monday to Friday.
- ₹500 per hour.
