Role Description The Public Relations Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The intern will support the PR team in drafting press releases, preparing media briefs, and assisting with the coordination of public announcements and events.
Responsibilities include monitoring media coverage, maintaining media contact lists, and helping manage relationships with journalists and external stakeholders.
The role also involves supporting internal and external communication initiatives, aligning messages with the organization’s brand and strategic objectives. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, create content, and ensure consistent communication across channels.
Qualifications
- Ability to draft and support distribution of press releases and related PR materials (Press Releases, Public Relations).
- Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders (Communication, Strategic Communications).
- Experience or interest in managing media interactions and outreach (Media Relations, Public Relations).
- Understanding of PR strategy and message alignment with organizational goals (Strategic Communications).
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital communication tools is an advantage.
