Role Description The Public Relations Manager will lead and execute PR strategies that strengthen Kaizzen’s clients’ brand visibility and reputation. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves managing media relations, drafting press releases and communication materials, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging. The role includes planning and implementing strategic communications campaigns, organizing media events, and tracking coverage and performance metrics.

Manager will also collaborate closely with clients to understand their business goals, provide counsel on PR opportunities and risks, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Regular responsibilities include monitoring industry trends, identifying proactive story angles, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of all PR activities.

Qualifications

- Strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with proven experience managing relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
- Ability to develop and execute Strategic Communications plans aligned with client objectives and brand positioning.
- Expertise in drafting and reviewing Press Releases and other PR content with clear, compelling, and accurate messaging.
- Excellent Communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities suited to diverse audiences.
- Prior experience in a PR agency or integrated communications environment, preferably handling multiple client accounts.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage deadlines, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret media coverage, campaign performance, and industry trends for actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, ethical, and non-discriminatory communication practices.
