Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale Public Transportation and Urban Mobility projects. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, program governance, and coordination with government departments, implementing agencies, and technology partners. The role requires solid project management capabilities, strategic thinking, and experience in managing complex public sector engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery

- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of public transportation and urban mobility projects.
- Develop project plans, implementation roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Management

- Engage with senior government officials, transport authorities, urban local bodies, and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and review meetings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, technology partners, consultants, and implementation agencies.

Strategic Advisory

- Provide advisory support on public transportation planning, project implementation, and operational optimization.
- Support preparation of policy recommendations, project reports, concept notes, and presentations.
- Drive decision-making through data-driven insights and best practices in transport and mobility sectors.

Team Leadership





- Lead and mentor project teams to ensure high performance and effective delivery.
- Review project outputs, guide consultants, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across project teams.

Business Development Support

- Support proposal development, bid management, and client presentations for transport sector opportunities.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, knowledge management, and practice development.

Required Qualifications:

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- M.Tech (IT/CS) / MCA preferred.
- MBA in Information Systems, IT, Systems Management, or related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Planning will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

- 8 to 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering Public Transportation Projects.
- Experience working with Government departments, public sector organizations, urban transport authorities, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in stakeholder management and project execution.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, project teams, and external partners.
- Exposure to smart mobility, urban transportation systems, transit management, or digital transformation initiatives is desirable.
